This year was the first time that Colorker has attended Casa Decor and the results could not have been better. Committing to the creation of a unique home space, the Colorker Group-Azulejos Peña space was designed by the interior designer Erico Navazo. This bathroom has surprised and captured the hearts of many, especially the jury at this edition, who awarded it the 2017 Best Project Prize. The space combined materials from the two current brands that comprise Colorker Group: Colorker and ZYX. METROPOLITAIN is a collection that invites us to travel back in time, it evokes the past and recovers one of the great icons of ceramic design: the metro style bevelled tiles that are so characteristic of the city dwelling atmosphere of Paris at the start of the 20th century. A return to origins that has led ZYX to incorporate a revamped classic into its portfolio of products. This is a piece with a retro touch, that has been turned on its head thanks to the sets of colours, its 8 graphics and its multiple fitting options. On 21 and 22 September, Architect@Work Paris, a gathering point for architecture, engineering and development experts, welcomed more than 140 architecture sales suppliers, including ZYX, with its Evoke collection. This is an event exclusively for professional opinion leaders where new products are presented in a creative and aesthetic manner. The stands are identical, all the same small size reflecting the “less is more” philosophy, one that helps all companies to have the same conditions in order to display their products. EVOKE is composed of a triangle and small rhombus in white paste, two items that leave conventionalism behind and are notable for their three-dimensionality and volume.
